Ten years of product design at scale. At Lowe's I built the iOS and Android design systems behind a $2B-a-year platform, and shipped dozens of features on them, including the Paint Configurator, MyLowe's Home, Inbox, and Apple Pay. I work shoulder-to-shoulder with engineers, in their tools: SwiftUI, Jetpack Compose, Flutter, and web. The component I design is the component that ships. I also founded a global network of beekeepers using AI to monitor honey bee health: 10,000+ hives across 40 countries.

Hive Story

About

I keep closing the distance between a drawing and a thing that exists.

The materials change: plywood, then sensors, then a component library, then Flutter widgets. The work underneath has not changed. Most designers pick a side of that gap; I have never been able to stay on one.

Every project I have chosen points at the physical world: machines you could build yourself, food you could grow on a balcony, the health of the insects that pollinate the food supply. I care about nature, and software is the most leveraged tool I have for doing anything about it.
